Magazine Subscriptions – How It Works

This page explains how our magazine subscriptions work: what you’re charged for, when you’re charged, when items ship, and what to expect each month.

Our subscriptions are designed to ship Japanese magazines as close to their official release date as possible.

Subscription Basics

• All subscriptions renew automatically every month until canceled.
• You can cancel anytime from your account.
• Cancellation is effective immediately.
• To avoid being charged for the next issue, you must cancel by the day before the charge date.

Once an issue has been charged, it will be shipped and cannot be refunded.

Billing & Release Schedule

Subscription charges are processed ahead of the official release date. This allows us to prepare orders in advance and ship as close to release as possible.

Shipping is done around the release date. Same-day shipping is not guaranteed.

Release dates may vary slightly in February and December.

Shipping & Delivery

• Subscriptions ship per issue, based on each magazine’s release date.
• Customers who are subscribed to multiple magazines may request to bundle them together to save on shipping.

Address Changes

• Customers are responsible for keeping their shipping address up to date.
• Address changes must be completed before the release date of each magazine.
• Address updates made after the release date may not apply to the upcoming shipment.

Tracking & Lost Shipments

• Tracking is not included by default in subscription shipments to keep prices affordable.
  
• Replacement issues for lost shipments are only provided if tracking was added.

Tracking is available for $3 per shipment and applies to future shipments only.

To add tracking to your subscription, please contact us. We'll make the necessary changes to your subscription.

All lost or delayed shipment cases follow our Shipping Policy.

Pricing & Currency

Subscription prices are set in Japanese Yen (JPY). The JPY base price remains the same, but the amount charged in your local currency may vary slightly each month due to exchange rate fluctuations.

These fluctuations are usually small.

Refund Policy

Once an issue has been charged, it cannot be refunded.

All subscription purchases are subject to our Refund Policy.
